Nancy J. Stephens is Associate Professor of Marketing at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. She is Faculty Director of the Online Executive Programs for the Center for Services Leadership.
Nancy teaches marketing management to working adult students who are pursuing W. P. Carey MBA degrees in the evening, on weekends, and online. She also teaches in W. P. Carey’s Shanghai MBA Program and has represented W. P. Carey at marketing courses in Sweden, France, Switzerland and Mexico City. In 2006, she won Best Foreign Professor at the Shanghai University of Finance & Economics in China.
Nancy’s research interests center on services management, consumer behavior. Her latest papers are entitled, “Beliefs of Chinese Buyers of Pirated Goods” (Journal of Consumer Behaviour, 2013) and “Attracting Working Adult Students with a High Satisfaction Strategy: A Case Study” (Proceedings of the AMA Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education, 2006). Nancy has published many academic papers in journals and conference proceedings, including Journal of Marketing Research, Psychology and Marketing, Journal of Advertising and others.
Nancy received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and her B.S. (with Honors) and M.S. degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana.
